Innerstance.Beatbox

Innerstance.Beatbox is just one of many guises donned by Milwaukee-based Jason Todd, whose others include Vanishing Systems and Def Harmonic. Your Eyes Are Like UFO's, My Darling mixes hip-hop, jazz, and soul into a fusion built for instrumental hip-hop heads — oozing '70s synths and buckshot beat hiccups, harp swirls and funk stutter, soul-jazz and boom-bap.

"Helium Disco" first appeared on the label's Hazardous Materials compilation before finding a home here.
