Chicago, IL — Chris Eichenseer (drums) · Jason Goldberg (moogs) · Jon Slusher (guitars & bass) · Jef Green (guitars)
The Timeout Drawer was a post-rock band at the center of the Chicago post-rock and IDM scene from 1997 to 2005. They toured with and played alongside bands like K-rAd, DoMakeSayThink, Mono, Pelican, Fly Pan Am, Metric, Tristeza, The Album Leaf, Dalek, Emperor Penguin, Hrvatski, DJ Spooky, Alec Empire, Q-Bert, TRS-80, Maserati, Quintron and Miss Pussycat, Smokey & Miho, and Damo Suzuki (Can).
Nowonmai, the band's third full-length, takes its name from Regan's backwards declaration in The Exorcist — phonetically reversed, "I am no one." Eight blistering instrumental tracks chronicling a fall from grace, the record's drummer is none other than Chris Eichenseer, who would go on to found Someoddpilot itself.
